Mental Performance Coaching with Dr Turner

Focus Mental Performance Coaching

Why Mental Performance Coaching?

Providing mental performance coaching for the players, coaches, and parents who are a part of the Focus Field Hockey Club is an opportunity to foster the development of the skills and strategies that we know help individuals perform at a high level in sport, in school, and in life. While we often assume that “sport builds character”, research has shown us that only though purposeful and intentional development of these skills within the sport setting do athletes gain the full benefit of sport participation and competition. The commitment by the Focus Field Hockey Club to provide mental performance coaching for their members is an investment in the growth of the players as athletes and – more importantly – as people.
